The two children, whose mother-Rebecca Mula Kalivamudhi, before  committing suicide on Tuesday, have been discharged this Monday afternoon with steady improvement.

With stitches around their necks, the children had abilities to crawl and walk, with good appetite for food.

Dr. David Walulye, the Clinical officer in charge of paediatrics, in Busolwe General Hospital, reported that it was a hard task to save the lives of the children because much blood was lost .

He said it was his first experience calling the operation that first needed blood transfusion challenging.

He strongly condemned the harshness of the deceased parent

Joan Samali Hasahya, the auntie, reported that the two children have greatly improved with good appetite for food. She further said that the younger of Eight Months can ably crawl, yet the elder one of 2 years walks with minimal support, guaranteeing that she will take care of the survivors dearly.

The children were discharged shortly after an interview, attracting several people to prove the children’s survival as they cursed their mother Rebecca Mula Kalivamudhi, who was buried on Thursday.

Rebecca Mula Kalivamudhi, wife to teacher Benjamin Wanamiriye, of Hahoola village, Busaba sub county, on Tuesday, last Week made news after she stabbed her two children intent to kill them before killing herself by poison.

She died a day after, but the children have since been struggling in Busolwe General Hospital.

Several people with uncertainty have severely faked the death of the children since when their mother passed on.

Similarly, Dr. David Walulye decried high cases of malaria,  and diarrhoea in  Butaleja district.
He urged the parents to embrace mosquito nets, consume safe water, and advised them to seek quick treatment.
