Two Schoolgirls Killed in a nasty Pallisa Accident

Two primary school pupils were killed after being hit by an unknown vehicle in Akutai Village, Kadusok Parish, Kibale County, Pallisa District, on February 25, 2026.
According to Wilfred Kyempasa the Bukedi North region police spokesperson,the victims, Achom Ann, 6, and Amoding Betty, 8, both pupils of Kadusok Primary School, were walking along the road when they were struck by the vehicle, which was heading towards Pallisa from Kumi.
He says the driver fled the scene, leaving the injured girls to die. Police have launched a hunt for the vehicle and driver, and investigations are ongoing.
Kyempasa adds that the bodies have been taken to Pallisa General Hospital Mortuary pending postmortem.
