Police Arrest Two More Suspects in Kokunda Patricia Murder Case.

Police in the East Kyoga Region this morning conducted an intelligence-led operation at Akaikai in Soroti District, resulting in the arrest of two additional suspects linked to the aggravated robbery and fatal shooting of Kokunda Patricia.
The incident occurred on April 3, 2026, in Soroti City.
The suspects, both adult females, are alleged to have played a significant role in concealing the firearm used in the crime.
Following their arrest, they reportedly guided police to the recovery of eighteen rounds of SMG ammunition, which had been hidden in a grass-thatched kitchen.
The firearm had been recovered earlier during the investigation.
The suspects are currently being held at Soroti Central Police Station (CPS) and are expected to be formally charged as investigations continue.
Police have reiterated their commitment to pursuing all individuals involved in violent crime and ensuring justice for the victim.
