Married Man, 50, Dies During Secret Bush Romance in Luuka
By Skika Reporter.
A shocking incident has left residents of Luuka District stunned after a 50-year-old married man reportedly collapsed and died during a late-night intimate encounter in a bush.
The deceased, identified as Simon Kalamu, a resident of Namulanda B Village in Bukooma Sub-county, is said to have sneaked into a nearby bush on the night of May 18 with a 40-year-old woman from the same area.
According to reports, the pair engaged in a romantic encounter at around 9pm. However, drama unfolded moments later when Kalamu suddenly collapsed during a second round of the act.
The terrified woman reportedly screamed for help, attracting nearby residents who rushed to the scene before alerting local authorities.
Police in Busoga North confirmed the incident, saying preliminary investigations show no immediate signs of foul play, although inquiries into the exact cause of death are still ongoing.
Kalamu’s body was later taken for a postmortem examination as detectives work to establish what exactly triggered the sudden collapse.
Busoga North Police spokesperson Samson Lubega urged the public to stay calm and advised people to pay close attention to their health, especially during strenuous physical activity.
Medical experts note that sudden deaths during intimacy, though rare, can occur due to sharp increases in heart rate and blood pressure, particularly among individuals with underlying health conditions.
Police say a full report will be released after investigations are completed
