Tororo Municipality Mayor Benard  Ochieng Names Executive Committee, Calls for Teamwork in Service Delivery

The Mayor of Tororo Municipality, Ochieng Bernard, popularly known as Obben, on Thursday unveiled the new Executive Committee for Tororo Municipal Council.

The  appointed members are:

Deputy Mayor: Hon. Achola Beatrice, Women Councillor for Eastern Division, representing Nyangole/Kasoli Parishes, who bounced back in the same position she held under Kenneth Orono Nyapidi leadership in the previous council.

Secretary for Works, Production and Technical Services: Woniaye Muhammad, Councillor for Eastern Division, Amagoro A Parish.

Secretary for Social and Community-Based Services, Education and Health: Aliboko Paul Bashir, Councillor for Western Division, Agururu A Parish , the same position he served in the previous council.

and Secretary for Administration, Finance and Planning: Aketch Josephine, Councillor for Western Division, Bison Parish.

Speaking after announcing the appointments, Mayor Benard Ochieng called upon the newly constituted Executive Committee to work closely with fellow councillors and the technical team led by the Town Clerk in delivering quality services to the people of Tororo Municipality.

” Work together with the other councillors and the technical team led by the Town Clerk to serve the people of Tororo Municipality,” the Mayor said.

The appointments are expected to strengthen service delivery and enhance governance within the municipality as the new leadership team assumes its responsibilities
