Al Nassr FC are champions of Saudi Arabia once again after ending a seven-year wait for the Saudi Pro League title in dramatic fashion on the final day of the 2025-26 season.

The Riyadh giants sealed their 11th league crown with an emphatic 4-1 victory over Damac FC, finishing two points ahead of fierce rivals Al Hilal SFC in one of the most intense title races in recent Saudi football history.

As expected, it was Cristiano Ronaldo who delivered on the biggest stage. The Portuguese superstar struck twice in the decisive encounter, capping off another sensational campaign and finally lifting the league trophy that had eluded him since his move to Saudi Arabia.

The victory marks Al Nassr’s first domestic league triumph since 2019 and signals a major shift in power after years of dominance by Al Hilal and Al Ittihad Club.

“This is a special moment for everyone connected to the club,” said Al Nassr head coach Stefano Pioli after the final whistle. “The players showed incredible character throughout the season. Cristiano led by example, and the entire squad fought for this title until the very end.”

Al Nassr’s championship-winning campaign was built on attacking brilliance and consistency during the second half of the season.

Alongside Ronaldo, stars such as Sadio Mané, João Félix and Marcelo Brozović played key roles as the club finished with the league’s most dangerous attack.

The title celebrations erupted across Riyadh moments after the final whistle, with supporters flooding the streets as captain Ronaldo lifted the trophy into the night sky.

For Ronaldo, the triumph adds yet another league title to an extraordinary career that has already seen him conquer England, Spain and Italy.

For Al Nassr supporters, however, this victory represents something even greater — the return of their club to the summit of Saudi football after years of frustration and near misses.

Attention will now quickly turn toward continental ambitions as Al Nassr prepare for next season’s AFC Champions League Elite campaign, with hopes of building a new era of dominance both domestically and across Asia.
