Former Tororo WMP Aspirant Nyafamba Secures Half Bursaries for Over 30 Students.

Former Tororo District Woman MP aspirant Mercy Nyafamba Babra has lobbied for over 30 half bursary scholarships for Tororo university students at Metropolitan University.
Addressing the media at the dean of students office at Metropolitan University in Kampala Nyafamba says the support is part of her commitment to education in Tororo.
Nyafamba says over 30 students from Tororo received half bursary scholarships at Metropolitan University, noting that this is to help our children access higher education despite the financial challenges many families face
The former aspirant used the opportunity to call upon the Ministry of Education to prioritize students’ retreats focusing on mental health, patriotism, and discipline among the youth.
Nyafamba notes that the bursaries are a fulfilment of promises she made to the people of Tororo during her campaigns, despite not emerging victorious.
