Hon. Andrew Ochole, calling for unity, peaceful elections, and increased participation in cultural and development programs.
Speaking at Iteso Cultural Union offices as the year comes to an end and the country heads into an election period, the Emorimor urged the people of Teso to remain united and actively support the activities of their cultural institution, noting that these programs are aimed at uplifting the entire community.

He reminded the people that life continues after elections and called on them to vote responsibly for leaders who will promote development and support community-driven initiatives.
The Emorimor also extended New Year greetings to the people of Teso, wishing them a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. As schools reopen in January, he appealed to parents to prioritize education by ensuring that all children return to school.
He highlighted the institution’s education program, which aims at achieving zero school dropouts and encouraged parents to work through clan leaders to access bursaries and scholarships.
Special emphasis was placed on keeping girls in school, with a call to parents and guardians to support their education as a key pillar for the future development of the Iteso community.
