KwarAdhola Centenary Cup gains Momentum as Teams pour In.

Tororo – The countdown to the historic Kwar Adhola Centenary Cup has officially begun, and excitement is spreading fast across the region as teams continue to confirm participation ahead of the landmark tournament.
Organized as part of the celebrations marking 100 years of Kwar Adhola, the Centenary Cup is shaping up to be more than just a sporting event. It is a powerful symbol of unity, heritage, and community pride, bringing together football and netball teams from schools, institutions, and local communities.
Tournament organizers have confirmed a strong response so far, with football receiving overwhelming interest—prompting an expansion of the competition to 32 teams. Netball has also attracted competitive sides, eager to be part of the centenary celebrations, promising thrilling matches, and high-level competition.
According to the organizing committee, preparations are progressing smoothly, with logistics, fixtures, and venues being finalized in time for the official kick-off on 14th February 2026.
Teams yet to register have been encouraged to do so before the registration deadline on Thursday, 5th February 2026, at 9:00 AM, as the remaining slots are limited.
The Kwar Adhola Centenary Cup is expected to draw large crowds, celebrate local talent, and leave a lasting legacy long after the final whistle.
Beyond the trophies, the tournament stands as a celebration of identity, resilience, and the shared love of sport.
