Investigations into the death of popular TikTok content creator Dianah Namulinde, also known as @Diana Skys, are focusing on what police believe was a violent robbery that turned fatal.

Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire said preliminary findings suggest Namulinde, 24, was strangled during an attack inside her apartment in Kwaata Zone, Kyanja Ward, Kawempe Division, on the night of February 3.

Her body was discovered the following day after friends, concerned about her absence, went to check on her and found the apartment door open.

Police have since arrested two suspects, including a security guard from the premises who was allegedly found with items believed to belong to the deceased. Detectives say three suspects have been identified so far.

Homicide and crime scene officers documented the scene and recovered exhibits to support the inquiry. Namulinde’s body was taken to KCCA Mulago City Mortuary for postmortem as investigations continue.
