TORORO, UGANDA – Bukedi Province Football Association (BPFA) has suspended Tororo Elites FC from the ongoing 2025/2026 Bukedi Province 4th Division League after the club failed to honor three league fixtures without formally communicating its absence to the competition organizers.
According to an official communication issued by the Province FA on 29th May 2026, Tororo Elites FC missed the following matches:
Calvary Baptist SC vs Tororo Elites FC
Challo FC vs Tororo Elites FC
Adhola Simbwori FC vs Tororo Elites FC
The Province FA noted that the club failed to provide any official explanation regarding its absence from the fixtures, an action deemed to be in violation of competition regulations.
As a result, Bukedi Province FA has invoked Rule 23:10(b) of the FUFA Competitions Rules, leading to the immediate suspension of Tororo Elites FC from the competition.
The disciplinary decision further states that all second-round matches involving Tororo Elites FC have been nullified, a move expected to significantly impact the league standings and the race for qualification positions.
In the official notice signed by Bukedi Province FA Chief Executive Officer Wamalwa George Ivan, all clubs participating in the 4th Division League were informed of the decision and advised to take note of the changes.
The suspension sends a strong message about the importance of commitment, communication, and adherence to league regulations as football authorities continue efforts to strengthen discipline and professionalism in grassroots football competitions.
League stakeholders will now await further guidance from the Province FA regarding any adjustments to fixtures and standings following the removal of Tororo Elites FC from the competition.
