Bukedi Province FA Confirms Zonal Mini Play-Off Slots Ahead of June Kick-Off.

The Bukedi Province Football Association (BPFA) has taken a significant step towards the organization of the 2026 Bukedi Zonal Mini Play-Offs following a high-level meeting involving Province FA executives, DFA Chairpersons, and Chief Executive Officers from Tororo, Kibuku, Butaleja, and Budaka districts.

The meeting focused on preparations for the forthcoming tournament, which will determine the four clubs that will earn promotion to the Bukedi Province League for the 2026/27 season.

Following deliberations, the participating clubs from the represented District Football Associations were officially confirmed.

The Province FA further confirmed that the district selected to host the tournament will be granted an additional slot as a hosting privilege, bringing the total number of participating teams higher.

The Bukedi Zonal Mini Play-Offs are scheduled to kick off on 15th June 2026, with the host district expected to be announced within the next two days.

Meanwhile, the deadline for registration of participating teams has been set for 10th June 2026, giving clubs limited time to complete the necessary requirements ahead of the highly anticipated tournament.

The competition is expected to attract intense rivalry as clubs battle for the coveted promotion places to the Bukedi Province League, with only four teams guaranteed progression at the end of the play-offs.

Football stakeholders across Bukedi will now eagerly await the announcement of the host district and the official fixture schedule as preparations gather momentum.
